Partners

The founders of Albayalde, Maite Barrio Olano and Ion Berasain Salvarredi, have extensive academic training, with degrees in Art History, Conservation-Restoration, and Museology obtained in France, Spain and Italy.

To carry out their projects, they collaborate with specialists in various disciplines, curators, restorers, architects, art historians, archaeologists, engineers, librarians, dendrochronologists, chemists and other scientists, with extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

Maite Barrio Olano

BA in Art History from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, with specialization in contemporary art.

BA in Technical Sciences, from the University of Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, with specialization in Conservation.

Diploma in Restoration of Art from the University of Florence (UIA), with specialization in paint on canvas and board and wall painting.

Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Art in Florence (UIA).

Stage training at the Royal Institute of Artistic Heritage of Brussels (IRPA).

Member of ICOM (International Council of Museums) and SFIIC (French Section of the IIC), vocal member of the board of GEIIC (Spanish Group of the International Institute of Conservation) and member of the scientific committee of its magazine Ge-conservación.

Ion Berasain Salvarredi

BA in Art History from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Diploma in Restoration of Art from the University of Florence (UIA), specialized in painting on canvas and board and wall painting.

Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Art in Florence (UIA).

Diploma in Restoration of Art from the Center for Restoration of Art in Madrid.
